We need your help

For the past 4 years, Educate Liberia Foundation has been quietly working behind the scene in Liberia by providing educational scholarship to the less privileged Liberian children, youths, and adults. We see a need to establish an office in Liberia. We are counting on your generous support to help us achieve our goal. No amount donated is too small.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 by the June 2012. We will gladly accept donations of any amount including your unwanted pennies.

To learn about other ways, you can make a donation, please visit our donations page. Thanks.

Be a Partner - Sharing the Vision

You can be part of the vision to rebuild the nation of Liberia. The Liberian civil war achieved nothing but:

  • damages to the all national infrastructures and leading to a crippled economy
  • education setbacks for many people especially children
  • increase in the number of orphans with little or no support

It also left the country with 85% of its work force unemployed thus making Liberia one of the countries with the lowest standard of living. The high unemployment rate is the primary factor that is also responsible for the high illiteracy rate. Thousands of families cannot afford to send their children to school as the primary focus of most parents is to provide food and shelter.

You can help change the plights of unfortunate children by donating the following:

  • Pencils, pens, erasers, copybooks, notepads, copy papers, etc

  • Science lab equipments such as microscope, chemistry, physics, and biology lab equipments

  • Used or New Textbooks (for all grade level)
  • Teaching aids such as charts, posters, etc
  • Used or new computer, computer hardware and software, typewriters, printers, and etc.

Your generous contributions or donations will help ensure the education of Liberian children and also help to improve the quality of education in Liberia .

Why Help:

As fortunate Liberians enjoying a better standard of life, it is inhumane to see someone who is in need of help and do absolutely nothing when it is in your power to do something. The peace and stability that Liberia is now enjoying came at a very high price in terms of loss of lives and logistics.

However, there is still another kind of war going on Liberia - the war to recovery. The recovery effort in Liberia should be the business of every Liberian. Our way of helping is to help educate the less fortunate children of Liberia because " a child uneducated is a generation lost ". So please lend your support today and help to make Liberia a better place for the future generations to come.
